Description: Century Plants are well suited for the high desert climate. Century Plants are one of the better plants to suit xeriscaping and drought tolerant landscape. While incorrectly understood that this plant flowers once in 100 years (hence the name), it does flower one time within the 10-30 year lifespan and then dies. It will produce suckers from the main stem after death to continue its growth.
